HVYSA Tackle Football’s mission is to teach football skills and prepare players for the next level, but more importantly, to have fun.
Registration for 2022 season closes August 26, 2022!
Fee: $135 per player
Age Divisions

| Little League (Ages 9-10) | 125 lbs. |
| Junior League (Ages 11-12) | 130 lbs. |
*Players who exceed weight limits may play in their age bracket with position restrictions.

Football FAQ
When do practices start and end?
Practices start the first week in August. All practice schedules will be set by Roanoke County Parks and Recreation, once we have the schedules we’ll pass along to all the coaches.
How many practices per week?
There will be 3 practices per week, approximately 2 hours each. Two practices with pads and one practice without pads.
Where are practices and games per week?
All practice and game schedules are set by Roanoke County Parks and Recreation, once we have the schedules, we’ll pass along to all the coaches. Plan for 3 practices per week, and 1 game on Saturday.
What equipment do I need to provide?
All players are provided with practice and game pants, shoulder pads, and helmets. Players will need to get a chin strap, mouth piece (not white or clear, and preferably one that attaches to the facemask), cleats, and practice jerseys.
How do I volunteer to be a head coach or assistant coach?
If you plan on coaching football, please complete the coaches volunteer section of the registration page. All coaches will have to pass a background check done by Roanoke County Parks and Recreation. Coaches must be screened annually and must wear their badges while on the playing field.
