2025 HVYSA Tackle Football

Welcome to the 2025 Hidden Valley Rec Tackle Football registration page.

On-time registration ($150) closes on July 25, 2025. After that date, a $20 late fee will be applied.

HVYSA offers tackle football for players ages 6 through 12. There will be three age groups for the 2025 season:

6U - 6 Years Old - No weight limit

8U - 7 Years Old - No weight limit, 8 Years Old - Over 110 lbs cannot carry the football.

10U - 9 Years Old - No weight limit ,10 Years Old - Over 125 lbs cannot carry the football.

12U - 11 Years Old - No weight limit, 12 Years Old - Over 130 lbs cannot carry the football.

Registration includes the RENTAL of a game day jersey, helmet, football pads, practice pants (Gray), and game day pants (Navy). Players will be required to return all of the items listed above at the conclusion of the football season. If the items are not returned or not returned in the condition they were given to you, then you will be responsible to pay HVYSA for replacement items.

Players will also be given socks that are theirs to keep at the end of the season. Parents will need to purchase football cleats, a practice jersey and a mouth guard.

If you plan on coaching football, please complete the coaches volunteer section of the registration page. All coaches will have to pass a background check done by Roanoke County Parks and Rec. and follow their code of conduct (see link below). Coaches must be screened on an annual basis and must wear their badges while on the playing field. Head coaches, assistant coaches also welcome, will be responsible for helping during equipment distribution before the season and return at the end of the season. Coaches will also need to return footballs to their coordinator at the end of the season. If they are unable to do so, they will have to reimburse HVYSA for the replacement cost of these items. Coaches will also sign the HVYSA Code of Ethics.

2025 Youth Coed Flag Football

Welcome to the 2025 Coed Flag Football registration.

There will be four leagues during the 2025 fall season:

Flag Football:

13u - League age 12 and 13

11u - League age 10 and 11

9u - League age 8 and 9

7u - League age 6 and 7

As part of the registration fee for Coed Flag Football, your players will be receiving an NFL branded reversible jersey and a flag belt.

Please note equipment required: All participants must have gloves and a mouthguard.

Additional items that you will need to purchase for your players: Black shorts and black socks.

2025 HVYSA Cheerleading

Welcome to the Hidden Valley Youth Sports Association cheerleading registration for the 2025 fall season. HVYSA cheerleading is for ages 6 through 12.

There will be three cheerleading divisions:

8U (Ages 6, 7, and 8)

10U (Ages 9 and 10)

12U (Ages 11 and 12)

Your registration includes a jacket and 2 bows.

Your registration includes the RENTAL of a shell and skirt. The shell and skirt MUST be returned in the same condition you received it. If the shell and skirts are not returned, or not returned in the condition you received them, then you will be responsible to pay HVYSA for the replacement of the items.

You will need to purchase white tennis shoes, white no show socks and navy or black spandex shorts.

If you are planning on volunteering to coach, please complete all of the volunteer information in the volunteer section.
